Smashology Media LLC respects intellectual-property rights and expects users and contributors to do the same. This page explains how to report material on smashologymedia.com that you believe infringes copyright.
Before submitting a notice
Consider whether the material is authorized, licensed, in the public domain, or used under an applicable limitation or exception. Misrepresenting that material is infringing may create legal liability.
Copyright infringement notice
A notice concerning material hosted on this Site should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered;
- The exact URL and sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material;
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Where to send a notice
Email the notice to info@smash-ology.com with the subject “DMCA Notice.” Smashology Media LLC is located in Sheridan, Wyoming, United States.
Review and response
We may ask for missing information, forward a notice to the person who supplied the material, restrict access while reviewing a claim, or remove material when appropriate. A complete notice does not guarantee removal if the use is authorized or otherwise lawful.
Counter-notices
If material you supplied was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, contact the address above for counter-notice instructions. A valid counter-notice generally requires your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was mistaken, your contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction required by applicable law.
Repeat infringement and other rights
We may restrict contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material. Trademark, privacy, defamation, or other complaints should be clearly identified and sent to the same email address; they are reviewed under the standards applicable to the specific claim.
